Yoji Kawaguchi has twenty years of experience in venture investment and US Japan business development.
He was a co-founder and managing director of ZenShin Capital, and invested in more than twenty US startups and helped them navigate to the Japanese market. Previously, he worked at NTT in Japan.
Yoji received his MBA from Stanford Business School, and his MS and BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tokyo.
Shuji Nakata has been senior executive with a proven record of strategic leadership in diverse technologies across multiple industries, cultures and geographies. He was the CFO and EVP at Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc, one of the largest global video game publishers in the world, SVP of US publishing at Koei Corporation, Director of Business Development and System Economics at The Coca Cola company, senior auditor at KPMG, and assistant VP at MUFG.
Shuji received his MBA from Cornell University, and his BS in Economics from Kyoto University.
Akio Sekido has been senior managing executive officer and chairman of ThreePro Group (TYO:2375) since 2011. He served as the president of NDS Co., Ltd, and president of Sankyo Kogyo Co., Ltd, and president of Synnex Corp in Tokyo.
He joined Tokyo Marine & Nichido Fire Insurance Co.. Ltd in 1972.
Akio received his BS from Waseda University, and MS in Management Science from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
Rani Saad has built and invested in new ventures in the US, UK and elsewhere for over 20 years. He has co-founded or co-built four technology startups in Silicon Valley, London and Los Angeles, in addition to a $120M emerging-markets VC fund. He also launched products globally and directed innovation acceleration at Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT), launched fintech platforms at Capital One (NYSE:COF), and led venture formation at a leading behavioural design entity. Rani also invests in deep-tech startups, serves as a judge in Stanford’s Ignite program for innovation and entrepreneurship, and advises startups, funds and entities (e.g. the World Bank) on early-stage innovation.
Rani holds an MBA from Stanford and Master's and Bachelor's degrees in three engineering fields (Computer, Communications and Intelligent Transportation Engineering).
Takayuki Imai has experiences of long-term strategy planning and new business development at Fujikura Ltd. He has collaborated with many global startup companies especially in manufacturing or healthcare fields. He also has experiences of leaders of product development, manufacturing, and marketing in the electronics component business.
He founded Delta Pacific Lab Inc. in Japan in 2023, and started supporting Japanese corporates developing new businesses through the collaboration with global startups.
